Join us for a brown-bag lunch with Dr. Alma Abdul-Hadi Jadallah for an informal conversation on
Arab Women: Peace Engines at Work
RSVP by Wednesday 2/17
Faced with armed conflict and violent unrest, civilians in the Arab world are left vulnerable to threats of violence and great deprivations. In this turmoil, Arab women are finding ways to serve as intermediaries and peacemakers in their communities. This informal discussion, led by Alma Abdul-Hadi Jadallah from Kommon Denominator, will allow dialogue facilitators and conflict resolution practitioners to share their field experiences and discuss the challenges and opportunities faced by NGOs when seeking to strengthen the work of local peace-makers in the Arab world.
